The Mezzina Group was founded by Joseph Mezzina, a 30-year veteran in the supply chain logistics industry. Our mission is to provide best-in-class supply chain consulting services using our vast network of partners to handle import and export freight, customs clearance, drayage, warehousing, FTL and small international and domestic parcel services.

Our group is dedicated in helping clients create a more streamlined and efficient supply chain process to drive down overall landed costs and help become more competitive in their category. Our clients get the benefits of more than 50 years of collective supply chain experience. We would be glad to provide references so you can hear directly from our clients!

Joe started his supply chain career by working for a small customs brokerage company in lower Manhattan some 30+ years ago. After successfully creating a small book of business, he moved his clients to The Janel Group, a full-service international freight forwarder and 3PL group. At Janel, Joe flourished and developed a large book of clients.

In 2000, Joe founded, Zina International, and import and marketing company dedicated to live television shopping products. In 2009, Zina International received multiple awards as well as QVC Vendor of the Year.

During the past 20 years, Joe has been managing both businesses and has a deep understanding of what it takes to operate an import company and how to deal with a complex supply chain issues. His experience is priceless for our clients. Joe and his group continue to manage a significant client base using various partners, including Mallory Alexander.

Meet The Team

Vice President

Andrew Mezzina

Andrew joined The Mezzina Group in 2021 after spending six years as a financial advisor for a large investment firm in Manhattan.

Entering the supply chain logistics industry at the height of the COVID 19 pandemic, Andrew partnered with clients to implement solutions at a critical time. Andrew uses his experience in finance to provide a unique perspective to show clients how to hedge against industry rates and help reduce costs while increasing efficiency.

Andrew graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in finance.

Manager

Catherine Anastasiou

Catherine has worked in the logistics industry for 20 years. She started in sales with the steamship carrier Lloyd Triestino/Italia Marittima and later Evergreen Lines. She built an extensive import and export account base within the tri-state area.

Catherine transitioned to NVOCC ocean freight procurement when she joined Delmar International as Pricing Manager; and then to Mallory Alexander as part of the establishment of its first New York office. It was here she held the position of Manager of Global Transport - a team based in Memphis, TN, heading ocean freight procurement for Mallory USA.

After taking 3 years off to start her family, she joined The Mezzina Group. alongside Joe Mezzina in 2016.

Jenny Tran

Jenny joined the industry as an account manager at a 3PL warehouse. For 8 years, she assisted many clients in shipping, receiving, and managing their products within a fast paced, competitive industry.

She has since then joined the Mezzina Group where she applies her 3PL knowledge towards finding solutions to clients' importing, final mile, and 3PL business.

Alexandra Lape

Alex is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the customs brokerage and logistics industry. With a passion for streamlining the international trade process, she has successfully navigated complex customs regulations and facilitated the seamless movement of cargo for many importers.

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio she joined the Mezzina team to help drive success in the dynamic world of global trade.

Kelsey Werner

Kelsey currently resides in Houston where she attended college. Upon graduation, Kelsey began working for the Mezzina Group to learn the supply chain industry. She has quickly developed her knowledge to help service our clients.
